The 2011 Oakville Half Marathon, Budds’ BMW 10k Run/Walk and the Whole Foods Family Fun 2k Run/Walk, originating at Coronation Park, saw the racers out of the starting gate early on a weather-perfect day for running. The races were in support of several worthwhile local charities; the Colorectal Cancer Association of Canada, the Oakville Hospital Foundation, Oakville YMCA, Kerr Street Ministries and Reach for the Rainbow.
