OAKVILLE BEAVER - You can help local adults build their literacy skills, and all you have to do is shop. On Thursday, Nov. 24, beginning at 5 p.m., Chapters at Dorval Crossing is hosting a FUNdraiser for the Oakville Literacy Council. With every purchase of in-store items during the event, Chapters will make a donation equal to 10 per cent of the purchase to support Oakville’s volunteer-based adult literacy program.
