OAKVILLE BEAVER - A former Oakville councillor is looking to reclaim his old job. Jim Smith, who served as Oakville’s Ward 6 councillor from 1991 to 1997, announced Wednesday that he will be stepping back into the political area, challenging incumbent Max Khan for the Ward 6 councillor seat.
