Living in Oakville for the past twenty years, I have always looked at the Oakville Ford Assembly plant as a source of pride for our town. With such a great local presence and employer of many of our citizens, I decided to discover more about the vehicles Ford is making right here in Oakville. I was surprised to find out that Ford locally produces the Lincoln MKX, a luxury crossover that not only offers all of the latest in automobile technology, but serious performance with a 305 horsepower engine and six-speed automatic transmission. Featuring a 3.7L twin independent Variable Cam Timing V6, and Intelligent All-Wheel Drive the Lincoln MKX offers a smooth yet powerful ride. I was amazed at how quiet it ran given the power under the hood.
