Don’t forget to show your patriotism Friday July 1, 2011 and wear RED at the Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park!

Lions Club of Oakville Annual Pancake Breakfast will kick off at the Royal Canadian Legion, 79 Jones St. south of Lakeshore at 8 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Enjoy performances on two stages, children's activities throughout the day, Kinsmen Club of Oakville Beer and Burger Garden, delicious food from local Bronte Harbour Restaurants, plus great merchandise and services offered in our Vendor Marketplace.

Leave your car at home if possible and take the bus to Bronte. Parking is free but there are road restrictions and closures south of Marine Drive, so please be patient.

The entertainment begins at 11:30 am and will include:

  • a great variety of Canadian performers on two stages
  • face painting
  • bouncy castles
  • Great food and beverages in the Beer ‘n’ Burger garden

The evening festivities will lead us into a Canada Day Special Presentation on Big Screen countdown with Mayor Rob Burton at 10:05pm and finally the magnificent fireworks show off Bronte Pier at 10:15pm.

Free Shuttle to the Fireworks

There will be a free shuttle bus from the RIO CAN plaza (Home Depot/Longo’s/Home Outfitters) at 3455 Wyecroft Rd located south of the QEW at Burloak Dr. and Wyecroft Rd.

Shuttle will start at 6 p.m. and will run until 11 p.m. to return you to your cars.
