RBC Canadian Open

The Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) is very proud to present this year's RBC Canadian Open at the Glen Abbey Golf Club. In its 105-year history, the Canadian Open has shaped the face of professional golf in Canada. Many of golf's greatest names have claimed the Canadian Open Championship title including Byron Nelson, Arnold Palmer, Sam Snead, Greg Norman, Nick Price, Tiger Woods, VJ Singh and Jim Furyk.

As the governing body of golf in Canada, our mission is to promote participation in and a passion for the game while protecting its traditions and integrity. Schedule of Events

Practice Rounds

Players will have the option of playing a practice round at Glen Abbey GC on Monday from 7:00am to 11:30am and after 4:00pm. On Tuesday, the course is available for practice rounds all day. Players will have the option of starting practice rounds at the 1st or 10th tee. Players electing to play a full round of golf generally begin somewhere between 7:00am and 1:00pm.

Pro-Ams

The Monday Pro-Am will be played using both the 1st and 10th tees with starting times from 11:30am to 1:30pm. The field will consist of 26 professionals and three amateur playing partners.

The Championship Pro-Am will be held on Wednesday and will consist of 52 teams each with one professional and three amateurs. Play will commence at both the 1st and 10th tees beginning at 7:00am with the last tee time at approximately 2:00pm.

Championship Rounds 1 and 2

Play is scheduled to begin at 7:30am from both the 1st and 10th tees. The last pairings each day will begin at approximately 2:00pm and finish at about 7:00pm. Championship Rounds 3 and 4

The first starting time will be determined by the number of players who make the "cut" (70 players with the lowest scores including ties will make the cut). Generally, the first pairing will begin play from the 1st tee between 7:45 - 8:15am; the last pairing for both days will start play from the 1st tee at approximately 1:30pm.

Where: Glen Abbey Golf Club
