Our Little World Childcare

Bilingual is just one of the many things this place lies about! My children went to this centre and it was a waste of money. The owner is very rude and unprofessional. Her children were always dirty and picked on my child. If you owned your own daycare you think you would be able to take care of your own children. Staff don't speak french so you are paying extra money for nothing!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!

Staff at this centre don't seem to enjoy their job. I've been at the centre picking up my children and have noticed a child walk away from their teacher and down the hallway and no one even noticed. That does not make me feel safe leaving my children in their care. When I enrolled my children in this centre I was promised numerous things which have not been delivered. Recently the centre had made some improvements but it almost seems like they are trying to hide the problems rather than fix them. The playgrounds now look amazing and the children enjoy playing outside. Overall I am not satisfied with the centre. The director is very unprofessional and more and more staff seem to be leaving. The children deserve more than what this over priced daycare offers.

As one of the owners of Our Little World I am very distressed that these extremely negative posts have been posted on your site. We have always been very open with all of our parents and respond immediately to any concerns that they have. We have never had anyone withdraw from our centre for any of the reasons mentioned here! As a matter of interest all of our families who withdraw while on maternity leave return when they re-enter the workforce. I would suggest that potential clients visit our website and look at some of the comments from our past and current families. As well, I would be more than happy to introduce you to any of our families for their comments.

Also benefitting that staff health issues caused by Sick Building Syndrome are eliminated. (Google "Sick Building Syndrome") The food preparation facilities at Our Little World are the envy of many fine restaurant kitchen owners and plans for expansion are under way. A call to The Halton Ministry of Health will reveal an impeccable record by the professional staff and management team at Our Little World. The staff of the Independent Facility Cleaning Contractor use hospital quality products throughout the facility every week night to ensure a safe germ free facility is ready for the arrival of the children and staff every morning. Take your little ones to see the Amazing Play Ground. Look and Listen for yourself. During our dealings with Our Little World we have found professionals that expect only the best from our company...... A Quality that is a Pleasure to Respect. Our staff have and will continue to recommend Our Little World as a place for the care, guidance and employment for members of our own families.

As a current staff member at the Our Little World facility I would like to say the facility is great. Our new playground is wonderful the children are loving it. However, French is not being taught to the children so if that is your reasoning for enrolling DON'T! I am very familiar with the families enrolled here at Our Little World and for the most part they are happy but there are some who have difficulties dealing with office staff and teachers. So visit the centre talk to the teachers and other parents find out for yourself. Just because it looks good on the outside doesn't mean it really is!

Of course an owner would say that they need to protect themselves. This is Wat this site is for to voice ur opinions but remember never judge a book by its cover read all chapter. Remember this is a second home for most of our children

I currently have two kids enrolled at OLW. One of which has a list of allergies. This daycare has been amazing with accomodating the restricted diet and I have called a number of daycares to discuss their procedures and menus - and unless your child has a dairy or nut allergy - you will need to supply all their food! The owner at OLW has always been friendly and extremely accomodating towards our family. My children absolutely love going there and I am not really sure why people are badmouthing the French! Some of the teachers in the classes hardly speak any English, which makes it highly unlikely that they won't speak French to the kids! There are some less pricey daycares in Oakville, but you get what you pay for!! This daycare has an amazing menu, the staff is will go above and beyond to accomodate your child's needs and from my experience OLW is great!
