recycling of pop cans and ink cartridges.

I'm running a high school campaign to recycle pop cans and printer ink cartridges. If you know of any great programs in terms of where to direct either, or good contacts regarding programs that are working well, I'd really appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance for any input.
