The May Court Club of Oakville at Wellspring

The May Court Club of Oakville presents The Runway Tour 2013 …Milan..Paris..New York..Oakville. Spring has arrived; and with that, exciting new fashions from Canadian, American (New York) and European designers who will be featured on the Runway Tour this year.

Once again Tocca Finita and M for Men have partnered with the May Court Club of Oakville to bring you an exciting fashion show to tempt your fashion sense and your eyes.

For over forty years The May Court Club has been financially supporting Oakville youth with their post secondary education with their annual Scholarship Program. These young people need to have shown commitment to the community of Oakville, and require assistance to move forward with their educational financial needs. The Wellspring Birmingham-Gilgan House, located at 2545 Sixth Line in Oakville, is a safe haven for people living with cancer and are dealing with the challenges that cancer can bring. The May Court Club of Oakville sponsors these and many other Oakville charities. You are encouraged to join The Runway Tour 2013 on April 18th and enjoy an evening with friends and family while supporting these worthwhile charities.

Together – we are stronger in our community. The May Court Club of Oakville was hosted by Wellspring Birmingham/Gilgan House (Halton-Peel) on December 10th, 2012. The appreciation night included a preview of the Wellspring’s newest facility, the Birmingham Gilgan House. This new location is situated at 2545 Sixth Line, Oakville (Sixth Line / Dundas Blvd.).

Wellspring was first established in Toronto in 1992, and subsequently in Oakville in 2000, Wellspring has a mission to provide emotional support for cancer patients and caregivers. It is a sanctuary where a person afflicted with cancer or his/her caregiver can come to be comforted, supported and be counselled one-on-one (in many cases by cancer survivors who understand what the person is living through). Wellspring provides these programs and services free of charge through its team of dedicated volunteers; many of whom are also proud members of the May Court Club of Oakville.
