Businesspeople and trendsetters make this place their number one spot for coffee and food. Start your evening here, meet new people, and enjoy the shops in the plaza while you’re at it.
Marble Slab Creamery
If your date has a sweet tooth then the only place to go is Marble Slab – just down the street from The Green Bean. The best ice cream is served here – choose from flavors like Birthday Cake, Double Dark Chocolate, and Apple and Spice. Go ahead and toss in every topping imaginable – you might want to throw on some of those M&M’s – just a suggestion.
Paradiso
This is the place to go if you are really looking to impress someone. A bit pricey, but this is one of the best gourmet restaurants in town. Try the New Zealand Lamb Burger, or the Wild Mushroom Omelette while enjoying the warm, intimate atmosphere that will be the highlight of any date.
Lakeside Park
This is where the romance kicks in. Walk along the path through the most beautiful part of Oakville that looks directly onto the water. You can spend hours here enjoying the scenery. Don’t forget the docks – walk down to the very end to see the incredible view that reaches all the way down to Toronto. This is the perfect way to end any date.
