The 17th annual Downtown Oakville Jazz Festival kicks off this year on August 7, 2009 with FREE concerts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 25 performers on 5 outdoor stages located throughout Downtown Oakville.Jazz Festival logo

Featured over the weekend are performances from David Garfield and Alex Ligertwood, Warren Hill, Chuchito Valdes and Robin McKelle.

Don’t miss the Latin Jazz sounds with Eliana Cuevas, Luis Mario Ochoa and more.

Back again this year is the “Sunday Blues” stage featuring Oakville’s own Mike Branton, and performances by JW-Jones and Carlos Del Junco.

Getting there

Lakeshore Road will be closed starting at 5pm on August 7 for the event. Parking around Downtown Oakville will be very busy, but there are other ways to get downtown for the Jazz Festival.

Oakville Transit will be running a “Special” bus from the Oakville GO Station every 15 minutes, starting at 5:30pm.

Travel in style to the Jazz Festival with a courteous and professional Limousine service!
