The Oakville Chamber of Commerce celebrated the official grand opening of its new office at 700 Kerr Street.
“We are finally settled in to our new location and are delighted to invite our members, volunteers, neighbours and others in the community to help us celebrate,” noted Wendy Rinella, chair of the Oakville Chamber of Commerce. “This move has increased our capacity to serve our members with a larger facility. The Chamber has experienced record revenue, membership growth and event attendance over the last few years. This location allows us the opportunity to further expand our staffing capabilities as we continue to grow.”
The Chamber’s new location is in central Oakville with easy access from the QEW. The Chamber has a large boardroom and additional meeting facilities, offering members a convenient location to host meetings as one of their membership benefits. In addition, the Chamber will have the space to host volunteers, students and interns at their new facility.

“A difficult decision, this move is necessary to accommodate our growth. The Chamber has had the privilege of enjoying a wonderful relationship with our past landlord, the Holiday Inn at Bronte, and we were sorry to leave,” Rinella expanded.
“It has been a pleasure working with our new landlord, the Donato Group, RLW Design and Euro-Line Appliances as we constructed our new office space, said John Sawyer, Chamber president.
Mayor Burton, councilors Pam Damoff and Cathy Duddeck, as well as members of the Chamber’s board of directors and past board members were also in attendance at the ribbon cutting.
Following the ribbon cutting, the Chamber celebrated by hosting its monthly Business After Hours and Volunteer Appreciation Day at its new office. The day was perfect and the event was held on the lawns of the new office. Whole Foods Oakville served a delicious meal. The Oakville Chamber Orchestra was on hand to provide entertainment. Each volunteer was thanked and left with a delicious bottle of wine from Peller Estate Winery, having had the opportunity to enjoy the new Oakville Chamber of Commerce office space.
