In 1987, master chef Motoaki Aoki opened Oakville’s first Japanese restaurant after receiving an invitation from then-mayor Harry Barrett. Mye prides itself on the quality of its dishes and the care that goes into their preparation.
Review
At Mye, you are greeted with a traditional Japanese atmosphere in a quiet setting. The staff are efficient and attentive.
The sushi is prepared with care and quite possibly the best sushi in Oakville. The salmon sashimi plate and yellowtail sushi were fresh and reasonably priced.
The cooked dishes do not disappoint either, especially the steak tenderloin dinner and shrimp tempura dishes.
Sushi starts at $5, main dishes at $18. Reservations recommended.

No way. Guirei on Kerr is the best sushi. The fish and preparation is outstanding.
