momstown Oakville loves a party and celebrated a 4th Birthday party extravaganza at Coronation Park. Ann-Marie Burton is the owner and mastermind of this very successful organization, “momstown.ca”, where local moms are able to meet other moms, connect online, get advice, chat with neighbourhood moms, meet for coffee, meet for play dates and have fun!
The Birthday Party was a free family event that delighted the excited children as they bounced in the Bouncy Castle provided by TA Bounce Events, petted the large brown snake and giant tortoise with Rob from Safari Science, danced the Zumba with Binu from Zumba Fitness, practiced gymnastics on equipment from Monkeynastix and ate delicious cupcakes from Cupid’s Cupcakes! These are only a few of the momstown sponsors and activities of this delightful day in the park.

Ann-Marie was excited to say that momstown offers over 20 events each month for moms and tots in Oakville; connecting moms and helping them to make neighbourhood connections, to gather together to learn and have fun with the friends they make. “momstown”, is now in 18 Regional communities and has Chapters across Canada. It is Canada’s original national “mom network” whose goal is to exist both on-line and in person. To a member, momstown is a really organized, modern moms group!

Sarah McLaughlin, the Community Manager for the momstown Oakville community, says “it’s an awesome place for both myself and my children to go, learn and be with other families.” The Community Managers bring together your local neighbourhood and warmly welcome you to join in. “Come live, laugh and relax with momstown. Join the neighbourhood!”
There is a small cost involved to be a momstown member. For $45.00 per year per family, moms are able to have access to all the momstown benefits, including their on-line event calendar, all activities and events! “momstown” provides a free two week trial to encourage families to learn more about the program and to see if it would be of benefit to them. An amazing service for all moms and a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends!
