Lego-Robotics Team, The Safety Shrinkers, will be hosting a fundraiser on Sunday April 15, 2012.
The money raised at the event will support their competition expenses at the FLL North American Open Tournament of Champions at Legoland in Winter Haven Florida happening early May.
The Safety Shrinkers is a group of 7 children, aged 10-14, who meet after school to make educational robotics with the purpose of enhancing their science, engineering and technology skills.
Only 3 teams out of the 305 Ontario teams have been selected to compete internationally. There will be 69 worldwide teams competing at this event. Truly, a spectacular achievement and honor to compete with the world’s best!
The Safety Shrinkers will be representing Canada and competing at the FLL North American Open Tournament of Champions at Legoland in Winter Haven Florida, May 3rd – 6th 2012.
The kids are very excited and enthusiastic to represent Ontario and Canada at this Tournament of Champions.

When: Sunday, April 15th, 2012 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
