It was a delightful evening spent with the Distillers Society’s members and guests, at the Harbour Banquet and Conference Centre in Oakville.
Doris Anest, Brand Manager for PMA Canada, a dynamic company which takes an innovative approach to the sale and marketing of their brands, lead the guests throughout the evening with her lively descriptions of The Distillers Society Signature Martini” (2 ½ oz. of SKYY Vodka, arguably the World’s purest vodka, served with vermouth soaked orange peel), Sokol Blosser “Evolution” White Wine, Sokol Blosser “Meditrina” Red Wine and the Amarula Cream Liqueur from South Africa. Delicious!
Dinner in this elegant diningroom, overlooking the beautiful Bronte Harbour in Oakville, with Executive Chef Antonio D’Anello at the helm, began with Mixed Tangle Green Salad with Executive Chef Antonio D’Anello’s Vinaigrette, and was followed by Pan-Seared Georges Bank Scallops with Soba Noodles, Ginger-Miso Vinaigrette, Pelee Island Caviare, Evolution Butter Sauce, Stuffed Pork Loin Roast with Miltonia Mushrooms, Smoked Tomato, Lentils and Fingerlings.
