On Friday, June 25th 2010, Lisa Raitt will hold a clinic in North Oakville that will provide an opportunity for constituents of Halton who are experiencing difficulties with Federal Government services to speak with their Member of Parliament and support staff who will work to resolve their problems.
“After the two very successful clinics in Milton and Burlington our office received many positive comments from people who are not able to make it into my office during business hours, so we will continue to offer this service and give people an opportunity to come speak directly with me,” said Lisa Raitt, Member of Parliament for Halton. “As always, our Community Service Centre remains open throughout the year to assist constituents on a daily basis with any problems they may have, but these clinics are about making our services more accessible to the community.”
Location: North Oakville Constituent Clinic, River Oaks Recreation Centre, 2400 Sixth Line
When: Friday, June 25th 2010 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Raitt encourages constituents of Halton to attend the clinic if they have any questions about Federal Government issues and services including the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Disability Pensions, Employment Insurance, Passports and issues with the Canada Revenue Agency.
Due to the large response we ask that constituents register their intent to attend by calling the office at 905-693-0166.
Constituents are always able to contact Lisa Raitt’s Community Service Centre, located at 86 Main Street East in Milton, which is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
NOTE: In an effort to avoid any confusion please be advised that this is not a Town Hall style meeting. The purpose of these clinics are to resolve individual issues that constituents are experiencing with Federal Government services and are conducted with the constituent and the Member of Parliament with staff.
