Tiny Tots Halloween Parade 2012

The spirits were kind to Oakville’s Halloween Tiny Tots Parade; the skies did not open up with rain, and yet, it was overcast enough to create a spookily perfect day to celebrate Halloween. Every Downtown business opened their doors to greet these young goblins with treats and smiles. Even the Grinch showed up for treats – no tricks today !

The firefighters were on hand with a gleaming fire truck and helping hands lifted the young “Trick-or-Treaters” into the seats. Strollers and moms and small people, in costumes of all kinds, filled the streets and enjoyed the hospitality of the business people handing out candy.

Energy was high at Heritage Glen Public School as the students paraded the halls in elaborate, creative costumes more suitable to the warmth offered indoors. All in costumes designed to entice the imagination, teachers, senior students, and pirates and princesses from the junior grades joined in to make this a first class Halloween Parade!
