e-Spot space

e-Spot offers a space where individuals who own their own business can gather.

Are you an entrepreneur and feeling lost? Well, fear no more e-Spot is here to help you.

e-Spot is located at 353 Iroquois Shore Rd. in Oakville and provides assistance, guidance, and community space for entrepreneurs. e-Spot offers a space where individuals who own their own business can gather. The space is well organized and can be used for a number of situations: a business meeting, a launch party, or a book signing.

Grace Attard started e-Spot in January of 2010. She was inspired to start e-Spot due to her own business enSpire Coaching Inc. Attard felt that there were three main needs that were not being met for entrepreneurs. One, isolation, there was no community feeling for entrepreneurs. Two, no place to gather with individuals in a similar situation. Attard wanted to create a place where businesses owners could gather and share their experiences and business. Third, there was a lack of help available from experts; therefore e-Spot offers help from: lawyers, accountants, and IT professionals.

e-Spot fulfills the needs mentioned above and provides many more services. Right now, e-Spot has 60 members. Entrepreneurs who get assistance from e-Spot range from “insurance brokers, graphics designers, consultants, and lawyers” said Attard. Presently, e-Spot caters to individuals in the Halton and Mississauga region.

“It all started 4 years ago when I created a vision board. On it, I remember a quote that said, ‘If you are an entrepreneur, then you are in the club’ and I knew that one day, I had to create a place for people like me – small business owners – to belong to and feel part of a community,” said Attard.

e-Spot offers three types of memberships: Solopreneur with an initiation fee of $200, Partnership with a fee of $300 and Company with a fee of $500. For further information on memberships, visit the e-Spot website at e-spot.ca.

e-Spot presents a great working atmosphere, which allows for a comfortable place to hold meetings and any other events for your business. There is a boardroom, wireless Internet and an open concept area where you can hold events as well. Individuals can also rent rooms – membership is not required to obtain certain services.

From November 19-20th e-Spot will present e-Academy, a two-day course on how to build your business. A few topics that will be discussed are: small business technology, branding, it’s more than just a logo and tagline, from vision to reality making it stick. For cost, registration and further information visit, e-Academy.
