Shopping

Bronte will also be taken over by one of the biggest sidewalk sales this summer. Local merchants will be lined up selling food and products to people strolling through the Bronte neighborhood this weekend. Merchants scheduled to come out this weekend include the Bronte Art Academy, Margo’s Flowers, Souvlaki Hut, The Twisted Fork, and CJ’s Café.

All the retailers at Harbour Days will also be offering customers the chance to win thousands of dollars in prizes from gift certificates, spa and beauty packages, apparel and home décor prizes.

Live music

Live music will accompany the entire weekend with the Taking It To The Streets music program, which will rock and roll Bronte all night long.

Topping off the weekend is a free sand castle exhibit built by Burlington’s Karen Fralich at 2395 Lakeshore Road. The three-time North American sand castle champion has been building one of her own signature sand castles from August 9-11th and will be on display for Harbour Days.

There is a whole lot of fun for the family this weekend in Bronte, so make sure you make the trip and enjoy what Bronte has to offer.
