28th Annual Courage Polar Bear Dip

We are days away from the 28th annual Courage Polar Bear Dip! Are you ready?

On January 1st 2013 we will surpass $1,000,000 in total funds raised for clean water projects through World Vision Canada.

Please join us New Year’s Day and take part in our Million Dollar Dip!

Funds raised this year will support the Right to Clean Water Project in Rwanda.

Don’t like the cold? There are many ways to support the event without getting wet.

Registration begins at 12:30pm on January 1 Please download your registration form now and fill it out before you head to the park. This will get you through the registration line much quicker!

Remember to bring your $25 registration fee in cash or a cheque made out to World Vision Canada (debit and credit card are not available at the park)

  • Those who have created their online fundraising page by 3pm on
    December 31st will skip the regular registration line-up by
    using the VIP line.
  • You will also be included in the first wave of dippers!
  • Bring your $25 registration fee (cash or cheque made out to
    World Vision Canada) along with any offline donations and you
    will be done in no time.
  • Free Shuttle Bus – NEW LOCATION!

  • Grab the bus at HOPEDALE MALL
  • Bus runs from 12pm to 3pm
  • Costume Contest

  • Register for the contest at the stage by 1:10pm
  • Prizes for Best Adult | Best Youth | Best Group
  • Participants are taken to the front of the dippers line after the contest
  • More Prizes

  • For every $100 raised, you will get a ballot towards one of our grand prizes courtesy of Shoppers Drug Mart – Third Line & Dundas
  • Post-Dip Party

  • Join us for some post-dip fun at the official Polar Bear Dip sponsor bar – Tin Cup in Oakville
  • Party starts at 3pm
  • Live music from Glenn Groves
  • Prizes & raffle draws
